Villa Maria Pia is a stately stone house of the late nineteenth century, located directly on the Franciscan Path of Peace, the Villa is only a five minute drive from the historic center of the city of Gubbio. Recently completely renovated it has been divided into comfortable rooms and mini-apartments. Each accommodation is equipped with all the services and equipped with everything you need, from the crockery to the linen for the bathroom and bed, from courtesy items to the TV and wi-fi present throughout the structure.
The treatment is in hotel style, but with the convenience of autonomy given by the fully equipped kitchens present in each apartment. Every detail has been taken care of to make the stay pleasant and relaxing.
The small distance from Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Lake Trasimeno, Monte Cucco Park, Frasassi Caves, allows you to visit the neighboring centers with short trips always making the base of the Villa. We will be happy to help you plan the best itinerary adapting it to your needs.
The location is ideal for both couples and families with children. The property has private parking, the property is bordered by a thick hedge to ensure maximum tranquility.
At guests’ disposal we have an outdoor kitchen equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, changing rooms and a shower adjacent to the pool and a large space where children can play safely.
Everytime during the year you can choose to relax under the porch or go for walks among the fruit trees in our park. In any season you decide to come you will be enveloped by unique scenarios and experiences.
In spring, surrounded by the thousand scents that the awakening of nature offers us, you can participate in the exciting religious festival of the Ceri.
In the summer, you can sunbathe by the pool, relax and admire the sunflowers surrounding the Villa, cool off in the evening breeze and enjoy the nocturnal show of fireflies.
Durante il periodo autunnale, momento in cui il territorio si colora di mille tonalità, non sarà difficile incontrare scoiattoli provenienti dalla vicina pineta che vengono a far provvista di noci. Si potrà inoltre partecipare al Festival del Medioevo e assaporare i tartufi provenienti dalle nostre zone.
In inverno, circondati dalle pendici in nevate dei monti limitrofi, la Città vi attenderà con una gioiosa atmosfera natalizia data dal bellissimo presepe del quartiere di San Martino e dall’Albero di Natale più grande del mondo posto lungo le pendici del Monte Ingino.
Per gli amanti del cavallo l’agriturismo è inoltre convenzionato con un vicino maneggio attrezzato anche per chi è alle prime armi.
